Backlink Service Scam Alert 2024 : Backlinkmint Case Study[ Scam Or Legit]
Hey, Guys this a type of case study focusing on whether b@ckliNkmint.com is legit or not. As new bloggers or bloggers who have tight budget like me often struggle to get backlinks from high authority sites. Guest posting, web 2.0 backlinks, social bookmarking no matter what more we have to do.
Moreover with all these efforts the percentage of having a do follow link is very less. But for a better website profile we need good backlinks, mainly from high authority sites, that too dofollow links.
With this we often browse some sites offering quality links but those services arent cheap. The value is justified but with a tight budget and no surety of increasing site ranking makes us rethink about buying links.
Then we come across certain services from fiverr, who offer high DA links for like $10. And with good reviews we get lured by it and tend to buy those services. And yea thats how we decrease our ranking potential by buying spammy links.
Me being a blogger with quite good experience in blogging came across a site which offers 2000 links for just $25. This made me examine the site for a bit. And with the examination I found certain stuffs
Website authority checks Of B@cklink Mint
As a backlink service provider , I had a preconceived notion that the site might be having decent DA with good amount of backlinks. But thanks to websiteseochecker.com’s DA & PA checker tool I got this kind of result
Yea, I checked it around August 2024 and I got to know that this site which is providing paid service isn’t able to use it properly.
It seems as a joke as any such niche based site which has a decent amount of content still gets at least 10-15 backlinks but the a link service providing site has just 1.
Suspicious Activities Of The Website: B@ckmint
Payment Process
I went deep to purchase it’s service for research purpose but, the payment process was just horrible. I am an indian blogger and I know that India is the only country along with a few , maybe japan , where UPI is accepted.
So, While checking out I found that, there is no such payment gateways integrated to this site.Hence , your payment isnt protected at all. If something goes wrong, just forget about refund.
But for research purpose I still scanned this QR to know more details and what i got to know that. It belongs to an Indian youtuber who talks about website growth and traffic boosting methods. Which goes by the name Sunil Tiwari.
About us page
The site’s about page looks highly unprofessional. It mentions that the site belongs to an agency and it serves in various countries like North America and its headquarter is in France.
But as mentioned earlier, this QR scanning and paying through UPI is mainly in India and a few countries. Moreover the App’s QR code isnt even available in france or any other countries other than India.
It’s about page also mentions the year this company was formed, which was in 1998 and the company was established in Jan 2018. So how is the domain age just 201 days ?
It also shares details about it’s co workers but I was surprised to see that their portfolio links just doesnt work.
No Blog Content
Another surprising thing is , the site has no such blog content. Being an agency it’s the basic thing to write engaging blogs about their services. Moreover there is no proof about seo optimization since there is 0 blog content. But the site also offers SEO services.
How I got to know about this site
As mentioned earlier, I am a struggling blogger. And I watch some informative videos on youtube to increase my rankings and traffic. Hence somehow I landed on a video by sunil tiwari.
This guy Talks about gaining discover traffic, some longtail keywords and many such tips and tricks for bloggers to implement.
That guy often used to promote this b@cklinkmint site to host our sites also to build backlinks via it.
He seemed legit cause of the amount of traffic he gets and his earning on google Admanager account.
Moreover he wasnt using any clickbait or fishy things to gain views. Hence I was pretty convinced to but backlinks from b@cklinkmint.
But before I wanted to know about it’s reviews. Hence I took the help of reddit and asked about it’s reviews.
What Redditors Reacted On B@cklinkmint
It was bad. I saw my karma going down drastically. 80% of the users thought that i was advertising backlink mint and got so much backlash due to it. And the rest 20% trolled me by thinking I bought links from it.
But thank God I am smart and yea I am writing this to make you all be aware of this kind of scammy sites.

What are some trustable sites to Buy links
Hey there! Let's chat about buying links, but in a way that's easy to understand.
First off, buying links can be tricky. It's not always a good idea. But if you really want to, here are some places that might be okay:
-
HARO (Help a Reporter Out): It's like a matchmaking service for writers and experts.
-
Linksmanagement: It is like a hub for backlinking, it uses stats for moz, semrush adn ahref to give you detailed reports about a site. And too offers backlinks on a monthly subscription basis.
Remember, Google doesn't like it when people buy links.Cause people tend to chase just the DA and end up making backlinks which arent related to niche or just are spammy.
Instead, try making friends with other website owners. Share their stuff, and they might share yours. It's safer and often works better.
